Skandinavik, produced by Villiger Stokkebye International, offers Cavendish blends made from flavored Burley and flue-cured Virginia leaf. The ingredients are then subjected to intense pressure from heat and steam producing solid, compact tobacco cakes which are sliced into flakes, then rubbed out after being allowed to mature. The finished products are mild, aromatic pipe tobaccos.
